Vaping CBD: The Best Way to Consume CBD?

It’s a fast, easy, and effective way to consume CBD, and in many ways trumps other routes of administration. Before we dive into the science let's dispel a few myths and associations CBD vaping may have attracted from it's toxic counterpart, Nicotine Vapes.

CBD Vapes contain ZERO nicotine. They're not addictive or habit forming nor do they carry the severe health consequences associated with using nicotine.

CBD is short for cannabidiol, a natural compound found in the cannabis plant. Unlike THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis that gets you high, CBD is non-psychoactive yet carries powerful medicinal properties. These include but are not limited to:

  • Anxiety Reduction

  • Healthier Sleep Patterns

  • Pain Managment

  • Anti-inflammatory

  • Reduce Brain Fog

There are several ways to consume CBD, topically, orally or vaping. Vaping CBD is booming in popularity, quickly becoming the preferred method for many people.

Instant Relief

Vaping CBD offers ultra fast-acting effects. When you vaporize CBD, it enters your bloodstream through your lungs, bypassing your digestive system and liver.

This means that the effects of vaping CBD can be felt within minutes, as opposed to orally which can take up to an hour to kick in. This is especially important for those dealing with anxiety, panic attacks or chronic pain.

Higher Absorption

Vaping CBD offers higher bioavailability. Bioavailability refers to the amount of a substance that your body can actually absorb and use.

When you consume CBD orally, such as with oils, it has to first pass through your liver, where an amount of the CBD is broken down and not absorbed by your body.

This means that you may need to consume a higher dose of CBD orally to get the same effects as a lower dose of CBD through vaping.

Vaping CBD enters directly into your bloodstream, bypassing enyzmatic breakdown. Studies have shown that the bioavailability of vaping CBD can be as high as 50-60%, compared to just 4-20% for oral consumption.

This means that you can achieve the same effects with a lower dose of CBD when vaping, in turn making it a more cost effective option.

Discreet and Convenient

Vaping CBD doesn’t produce the strong odor associated with smoking cannabis, nor does it create the large plumes of vapor typical of nicotine vapor, making it ideal for use in public places.

Controlling Dosages

Additionally, CBD vaping offers a precise way to control your dose. With edibles, it can be challenging to determine how much CBD you’re actually consuming because the dosage can vary from product to product.

With vaping, you can measure your dose more accurately, which can be especially helpful if you’re using CBD for a specific medical condition.

Safer than Alternative

Vaping CBD unanimously considered safer than

Vaping CBD produces vapor that contains only the active compounds of the cannabis plant, with no combustion or smoke.

In Conclusion

Whether you're seeking fast-acting relief, a more cost-effective option or simply a more effective means of consuming your CBD, vaping is an option well worth investigating.

As always, it’s recommended that you speak with your healthcare provider before adding CBD to your wellness routine.
